Raging River

Located fifty kilometers west of Port McNeil is Raging River, a 8mw hydroelectric, power project that required an extensive upgrade.  We assisted this job by supplying workers, equipment, and our expertise to construct the road and bedding platform for the new penstock.  The original four foot diameter pipe had to be removed and the site had to be prepared for a new 8 foot diameter pipe install.

J.LG’s crew completed the penstock placement, backfill, compaction and site rehabilitation.  All this work was performed on very steep mountain terrain under extreme environmental restrictions.
